Reduction of process contaminants in vegetable oils and fats
Safe and pure oils and fats through innovative processes.
MOSH and MOAH are chemical compounds derived from mineral oils. MOSH consists of saturated hydrocarbons, while MOAH are unsaturated and considered genotoxic. They enter the supply chain through various routes, including migration and the use of pesticides in which they can be dissolved.
To remove MOAH, we do not rely on time- and temperature-intensive processes. Instead, we use physical treatment through advanced distillation technology followed by gentle deodorization. This approach reduces the formation of process contaminants while significantly lowering the levels of MOSH / MOAH, pesticides, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and plasticizers such as DEHP.
We offer our customers safe and pure edible oils and fats through gentle refining.
